Established in April 2001, Genesis Foundation supports medical rehabilitation of special children who are amputees or afflicted with disorders such as speech impairment, cerebral palsy, polio, and various deformities.
The encouraging outcome of medical intervention for two severely challenged children arranged by people involved with Genesis Foundation presently served as a cornerstone for this organisation. The Foundation presently works with special children varying from newborn infants to 16 years of age in two homes for orphans and medically challenged children. These are in New Delhi and Gurgaon and house about 75 children each.
At present, Genesis Foundation is exploring building appropriate linkages with hospitals in India and worldwide to facilitate medical intervention for severely challenged children.
